We Must Get America Back On Track

The American Dream has become somewhat of a nightmare,
The signs of the times are shown everywhere, in all of our towns,
Crime and all sorts of corruption have become a tumor in this country,
In our governments, our financial systems, and in our everyday lives.
The people do not speak out of fear of what these entities may do,
Because of this, look quickly, we are on our way down.
Lady Liberty is on her knees, begging us to stand up, to put things right,
Lady Justice hangs her head in shame; she has dropped her scales of justice,
And with her blindfold still in place, she covers her ears,
So not to see nor hear all of the injustice being done in this great land.
We need leaders who will not mislead us, mistreat us, or steal from us,
Taking our jobs and our money and sending them abroad when there are so many of us here,
In America, who are in jeopardy and in need of help.
This country needs heroes to protect us and to help us in times of threat or need.
They need not be treated like criminals when they stand up and serve us,
While giving their all for us. Come on America, let's correct this.
Since God has been forbidden in public, our children have run rampant,
No guidance from above or at home. We must reintroduce God to our country and
Set things right, as they should be, not fretting or worrying about what has been or
What is to come. Our children and teachers are outnumbered by drugs, guns, and birth control.
This is very, very wrong. Let's ask God to forgive us and to help fix us before we have gone too far.
So come on all of you, who are true to the Red, White, and Blue, us red blooded Americans,
No matter what the color of your skin may be or what religion too,
As long as you love this great land of ours, and call America home.
Let' get our pride back, let's take our country back. We must get America back on track.
